Pete Doherty to reform The Libertines?

Singer and ex bandmate Carl Barat writing new material

The Libertines split in 2004

Pete Doherty and Carl Barat could be reuniting to record another album.

The Libertines split 4 years ago due to the problems Pete's drug addiction caused within the band.

Now Pete, 29, now fronts Babyshambles and Carl, 30, is with Dirty Pretty Things.

But the pair have been working together on a musical, which is set to open at London’s Donmar Warehouse next year.

And they are thinking about the possibility of a new album.

‘Songs have been pouring out and they’re considering holding back a few compositions to record and maybe release in the future,’ a source tells The Sun.
