Comedian receives 6 points and a fine for speeding

Patrick Kielty has avoided a driving ban after pleading guiity to speeding at 101mph.

The Love Island star, 37, was fined £1,200 and got 6 penalty points for speeding in Scotland on 27 December 2007.

Speaking to the press outside Stranraer Sheriff Court, the presenter said: 'To be honest with you, with the price of petrol at the moment, I was sort of half looking forward to a ban.

'But it was a fair enough result.'
