Kate Moss arrives fashionably late for Leah Wood's wedding

Supermodel apologises for turning up 15 minutes into the service

Kate Moss has offered to splash out on a luxury holiday for her friend Leah Wood – after she turned up late for her wedding at the weekend.

Model and musician Leah, 29 – daughter of Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood – married 30-year-old TV producer Jack McDonald at Southwark Cathedral on Saturday.

But Kate, daughter Lila Grace, 5, and boyfriend Jamie Hince of The Kills, 39, interrupted the intimate ceremony by walking in 15 minutes late.

Now the 34-year-old supermodel has told Leah she’ll make it up to her – by paying for a second honeymoon to the Caribbean.

‘Leah was lost in a beautiful moment as she exchanged vows when Kate stole the spotlight,’ a source tells the Daily Star. ‘But she didn’t let it spoil her day and Kate eventually couldn’t apologise enough.

‘The promise of a second honeymoon before they’d even gone off on her first was enough for Leah and Jack to let it go.’

Other guests at the ceremony included Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall and Keith Richards.
