50 Cent issued with gun ban by US judge

Rapper also told to stay away from his ex

50 Cent doesn't crack a smile
Restraining order: 50 Cent

A judge has ordered 50 Cent to surrender any guns he might have after he was served with a restraining order.

According to the Long Island, New York court order, he must avoid all contact with Shaniqua Tompkins, the mum of his 11-year-old son.

His lawyer Brett Kimmel said he would contest the order. 'To my knowledge, he has no guns,' he said.

50 Cent, real names Curtis Jackson, has also filed a £10million defamation suit against Shaniqua over statements she made to the press.

Fiddy and his ex have been locked in a legal fight over money, with Shaniqua claiming the two made a verbal agreement that she was entitled to half his estate.

Last month, a blaze destroyed his £1.2million New York mansion, where Shaniqua lived with their son.

Police say they are treating the fire as suspicious.
