Pete Wentz is doing his best to meet the needs of his pregnant wife Ashlee Simpson.
The Fall Out Boy frontman is thrilled about the prospect of becoming a dad and is trying to be as supportive as he can.
‘I’ve been reading books and watching my dad,’ he says.
‘I do the whole 9 [yards], anything to keep [Ashlee] comfortable – massage, the works.’
Ashlee, 23, and Pete, who turned 29 on Tuesday, plan to stay in Chicago for the birth.
'I think I would rather raise a family here than LA,' he tells People.
'You go to your own coffee shop, you go to the dog park, it's smaller and I appreciate it.'
The couple tied the knot in a quiet ceremony in front of family and friends on 17 May.
