Ashanti has hinted that she’d like to marry her rapper boyfriend Nelly.

‘No engagement,’ she says. ‘But definitely in the future.’

The singer, 27, and Nelly, 33, real name Cornell Haynes Jr, have been dating since 2004.

‘Me and Nelly, we're good friends,’ she tells People. ‘We kick it – hang out a lot.

'The industry is very hard, so it's good to have fun and lighten it up.’
