Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne Rooney are honeymooning at a secret location

Wayne Rooney and new wife Coleen McLoughlin showed off beautiful matching diamond wedding rings as they left Italy at the weekend.

The newlyweds showed off the sparklers - which Coleen is thought to have designed personally - at Genoa airport.

It's thought the rings – which are estimated to have cost between £250,000 and £1 million – were made by exclusive New York jewellers Jacob & Co.

The company has made custom pieces for A-listers including David and Victoria Beckham, P Diddy, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.

Coleen and Wayne, both 22, tied the knot in Portofino, Italy, on Thursday. The 4-day celebrations are said to have cost £5 million.

They set off earlier today for on their honeymoon at a secret location.
