Disney star and Billy Ray Cyrus say they're more like 'best friends'

Miley Cyrus’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus says he feels more like her mate than a parent.
The pair, who celebrated Father’s Day together yesterday, work closely together on her Disney show Hannah Montana.
And Achy Breaky Heart singer Billy Ray, 46, reckons they get on so well because they’ve got a solid bond.
‘I’ve always tried to be her best friend and that’s what I continue to do now,’ he says.
‘She always knows if she needs me, I’m there.’
Miley, 15, caused controversy in May when she was snapped in a US magazine covered with just a satin sheet.
