Britney Spears meets with Mel Gibson at cigar club

Pair catch up at a members-only venue in LA

Mel Gibson has been mentoring Britney Spears

Britney Spears met with Mel Gibson at an exclusive Beverly Hills cigar club.

The pair caught up for almost 3 hours on Tuesday.

Britney, 26, her assistant Brett and a bodyguard arrived shortly before 7pm and onlookers said she scrubbed up well.

‘She looked pretty in her new Capri jeans a blue blouse, white shoes and a brown bag,’ a source tells People.

‘Britney looked like a doll with bright red lipstick and had a serious look on her face as she walked in to the Havana Club.’

Ben Affleck, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Danny DeVito are regular visitors to the members-only venue.

Brit left at 9.30pm, while Mel, 52, stayed on until 11pm.

Mel and his wife Robin have been helping Britney since she checked out of hospital in February.

The singer and her dad Jamie holidayed with the couple in Costa Rica last month.
