Finalist: Alex Wotherspoon

Alex Wotherspoon has received a death threat ahead of tonight's final of The Apprentice.

The former sales manager has been sent several abusive messages since the show started 3 months ago.

‘One guy even sent me an email saying “I wish you’d die”, which was a bit strong,’ he tells The Sun.

Heart-throb Alex, 25, will battle it out with Claire Young, 29, Lee McQueen, 30, and Helene Speight, 32 to win a £100,000 job with Sir Alan Sugar.

'Obviously we take the safety of the
contestants very seriously so we are looking into this,' said a BBC1 spokeswoman.
