Lindsay Lohan rushed to hospital after asthma attack

Actress was struggling to breathe

Lindsay Lohan arrived at hospital with DJ Samantha Ronson

Lindsay Lohan almost stopped breathing during a serious asthma attack on Thursday.

The actress, 21, was photographed at Century City Hospital in LA with DJ pal Samantha Ronson, 30.

'She was losing oxygen,' mum Dina Lohan reveals. 'She couldn’t breathe.'

On Friday, Lindsay’s rep claimed she had visited the centre to see a friend.

But Dina admits this was just a cover up.

‘She was afraid to go the hospital because [the paparazzi] were gonna write about it,’ she tells People.

‘She was sick. If you were sick, and your mother couldn't even take you to a hospital because paparazzi will fabricate some story, you know, it's sad. It's really sad.’

Lindsay and Samantha were spotted nuzzling necks at a bash in Cannes, France last month and are close pals.
