Singer wants to give back to the country from which she adopted son David Banda

Madonna adopted David Banda from Malawi

Madonna is planning to build a girls' school in Malawi.

The Material Girl adopted son David Banda, 2, from the African country.

Plans are said to be in the early stages and the project is expected to have a multi-million pound cost.

Construction is due to start later this year, reports Reuters.

Madonna, 49, will learn today if full adoption of David will be granted to her by the Malawian government.
