US rapper Nate Dogg is alive – despite reports the 90s star passed away on Monday.

It was claimed the 38-year-old died from complications associated with a stroke after a comment on a social networking site was picked up by MediaTakeOut.com

Nate Dogg – real name Nathaniel Hale – suffered a stroke in January, which left him paralysed on the left side of his body.

He is currently recuperating in a rehab facility.

Grammy-nominee Nate Dogg made his name in the 90s and is best known for collaborations with fellow rappers Warren G, 36, Snoop Dogg, 35, Dr Dre, 43, and the late Tupac Shakur.
