Doctors are considering whether to induce Kerry Katona's baby, her rep has confirmed.
The reality star checked into hospital yesterday with husband Mark Croft, 37.
'Kerry's waters broke in the early hours of Wednesday morning,' the official statement says. 'At the hospital, medication was given to stop contractions.
'A decision will be made in the next 24 hours as to when doctors induce labour.
'At present both mum and baby are not in any distress and the longer the onset of labour is delayed, the better it is for both of them.
'Kerry would like to thank everyone for the messages of support and thank the doctors and nurses, who are providing excellent care.'
Kerry, 27, went into labour 5 weeks early. The baby a boy was not due until 19 May.
She already has 3 daughters Molly, 6, and Lily Sue, 5, with ex-husband Brian McFadden, and Heidi, 1, with Mark.
