Fearne Cotton and Jesse Jenkins spend Valentine's Day apart

TV presenter admits she just watched DVDs and ate chocolate

Fearne Cotton was forced to endure Valentine's Day without a kiss from boyfriend Jesse Jenkins because she was filming a reality show in America.

Instead the telly host, 26, had to console herself with a bar of chocolate in an anonymous hotel room.

'I'm going to be alone,' Fearne revealed before the big day. 'So a giant bar of some candy – aka awful American chocolate – and a DVD will have to do.'

Fearne received a lovely framed photo as a gift from her fella but admits her present for Jesse, 21, wasn't really very romantic.

'I gave him a very cheesy I Love NYC mug,' she told the Daily Express. 'I must try harder next year!'
