He may only be 40, but Gordon Ramsay has revealed he intends to quit the kitchen in 10 years' time.
‘I don’t want to die of a heart attack on the stove,’ the celeb chef quips. ‘I don’t want to be pushing meals out at 60.
‘Being a chef is a young man’s game. I’m getting out. I’ll have my empire, but I’ll get my life back.
Gordon already dreams of the perfect lifestyle.
‘When I’m 50 I’m going to buy a restaurant in some amazing part of the world like Sardinia, and I’m going to do exactly the opposite of what I do now,’ he tells Live.
‘I’ll keep my restaurant closed 6 days a week and open it just once, on a Sunday. I’ll spend all my time with Tana and the kids. I’ll dive, I’ll snorkel, I’ll do what I want to do.
‘Then on a Sunday, I’ll go into the kitchen and work my b******s off. That will be enough to feed my addiction.’
