Boyzone on tour next year - no matter what

Stephen Gately promises farewell tour in 2008

Stephen Gately has revealed that Boyzone are planning to reform and tour next year.

The Irish quintet have not performed together since they went their separate ways back in 2000.

‘We always promised the fans a farewell tour,' Stephen, 31, tells the Daily Telegraph.

‘It’s really a case of working out when the five of us can get on stage at the same time. Take That certainly did well out of their reunion tour.’

Yup, it's definitely time for Stephen, Ronan, Shane, Keith and Mikey to start belting out Baby Can I Hold You and No Matter What once again.
