Gwen Stefani buys J.Lo's former home

Beverly Hills House sells for a reported $15.5 million

Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale have paid nearly $15.5 million for a Beverly Hills home that once belonged to Jennifer Lopez, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The couple, whose son Kingston is three months old, bought the house from film producer and businessman Sam Nazarian, who bought the property from Lopez in 2004 for a reported $12.5 million.

The 10,000-sq.-ft., four-bedroom house, built in 1998, is in a gated community off Mulholland Drive and rests at the end of a 250-ft. driveway with its own gate. Nazarian tells the Journal the ultra-private home is "designed for a celebrity."

Also on the two-acre property: tennis and basketball courts, a swimming pool and a screening room.

Nazarian, whose producing credits include last year's Edward Norton movie Down in the Valley, also owns restaurants, nightclubs and hotels, including nine in Los Angeles.

He tells the paper that his new house is in the Hollywood Hills, next door to Leonardo DiCaprio.
