Victoria and David Beckham have sold their famous 'Beckingham Palace' mansion.

The couple purchased the huge Hertfordshire home - which is actually called Rowneybury House - for £2.5million in 1999 but they've barely stayed there for two years so have decided to part ways with the luxury pad.

The Sawbridgeworth property is reported to have fetched a whopping £12million and comes with a Ferrari, two Jaguar sports cars and a holiday home in France thrown in.

Posh, 39, and Becks, 38, are set to relocate to central London in an exciting 'new era' for the family but they'll miss their iconic old house.

David in particular was desperately sad to sell the family home as there are so many memories there,' a source tells The Sun On Sunday.

They have had years of happiness in the home, but practically now there is no need to keep it.'

The couple are planning to splash out on a huge £45million central London pad for them and their four children Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, 8, and Harper Seven, 2.
