Harry Styles has denied that he was carried out of a club in Newcastle this week because he was too drunk to stand.
Several revellers at nightspot Perdu wrote on Twitter that the One Direction singer, 19, had been 'mortal' but Harry's spokesman insists this is rubbish.
'@Harry_Styles not surprised you were #mortal last night #cutmyarm #bestnight,' Tweeted one clubber.
Another wrote: '@Harry_Styles you may have been carried out of Perdu tonight but I still love you x.'
Harry - who'd been in Newcastle on 1D's Take Me Home tour - took support act 5 Seconds Of Summer out with him and reportedly met up with glamour girl Chelsea Ferguson.
One barman described him as a 'top lad' and Harry was happy to pose for a photo with promoter Jermaine Hudspith.
Jermaine told his Twitter followers yesterday that reporters had been trying to get him to 'grass up' the curly-haired heartthrob and this morning wrote a post in support of Harry.
'Despite what is in the papers, Harry Styles was NOT carried out of any club on Wednesday night, he enjoyed his night and left completely fine!' Tweeted Jermaine.
