Lindsay Lohan's dad Michael is desperate for Lindsay to get the help she needs
Lindsay Lohan's dad has spoken out about her latest legal troubles, saying the judge who sentenced her last week should've been a lot tougher.
Worried Michael Lohan insists his out-of-control daughter needs to be in lockdown under 24-hour watch immediately - or she could be dead within weeks.
Talking exclusively to Now, Michael admits this isn't the first time he's feared for Lindsay's life - he's twice before thought she'd died.
It comes after Li-Lo, who's battled drink and drug addiction for years, pleaded no contest last week to charges of reckless driving and giving false information to a police officer.
She was sentenced to 90 days in rehab but given 45 days to find a centre, which Michael is terrified is too much freedom.
Tearfully, he says: 'What the judge has done with an order for 90 days in lockdown is a good thing - Lindsay needs to get her life back on track.
'The problem is, they gave her until 2 May to find a place. They should've put her in a facility immediately.
'Lindsay needs daily therapy to address her problems. She needs to be given the chance to get better under supervision.
'I won't stop shouting for my daughter to get help. If you want to save her life, put her in rehab now.
'If she doesn't go, the consequences are unthinkable.'
Lindsay, 26, reportedly tried to sneak into an LA nightclub within hours of her court appearance.
However, the star's since taken to Twitter to strongly deny the claim.
Michael refuses to comment on the allegation, but admits: 'She's a knucklehead sometimes. We need to keep her in our prayers.'
