Ben Affleck has revealed that before he found success as an actor he had some pretty terrible jobs.

Dad-of-three Ben, who is married to actress Jennifer Garner, admits to having had a ‘hard dose of reality' in the early days of his career.

‘I was the Easter bunny,' admits Ben, 40.

‘I had to go around giving kids chocolate because I was broke. Then I was the tooth-fairy...'

Hit movie Argo, a film that Ben both directed and starred in, recently won three Oscars including Best Picture.

But it seems that the actor's children - Violet, 7, Seraphina, 4, and 11-month-old Samuel - were more interested in the beard he grew for the role.

‘My kids hated it!' Ben tells The Sun's TV Magazine.

‘I said: "I've got to wear this for work." So one of my daughters asked: "What kind of work would want you to look like that?" Now that's a good question, I thought.'
