The One Direction singer told his 5,720,585 Twitter followers that he was spending a bit of time alone in order to brush up on his guitar skills last week.
'Playing a bit of guitar before bed. Up early tomorrow. What are you guys up to tonight :) x,' Tweeted Zayn, 19.
Some of the other 1D boys also had to set their alarms for the crack of dawn on Wednesday, with Harry Styles letting his Twitter fans know that he was feeling a little tired.
It seems Zayn - who's dating Little Mix's Perrie Edwards - stayed up a little too late with his instrument and ended up suffering the next day.
'Yawn !' he Tweeted.
