Olympic diver Tom Daley goes back to school and aims to have a TV career after his studies
Tom Daley reminded everyone that he's still a regular 18-year-old lad by returning to his A-level studies at Plymouth College yesterday.
Tom, who is studying maths, photography and Spanish, was joined by fellow Olympians Ruta Meilutyte, Jade Howard and Jamila Lunkuse.
The students were given a standing ovation in a private assembly, before taking to the streets with other Plymouth-based Olympic and Paralympic competitors for a celebratory open-top bus parade.
It appears that working with the media throughout London 2012 has given Tom a taste for TV.
'I would like to become a TV presenter or something along those lines,' says the teenager.
Medallist Tom is eager to spend some time away from rigorous training at the pool and give something different a go.
'I would love to try anything new really, be it star in a film or playing a small part,' he tells The Daily Star.
'It's crazy the opportunities the Olympics have given me.'
