One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson buys Doncaster football team
Louis Tomlinson has come to the rescue of his local pub football team in Doncaster because they were struggling to find the cash for a new kit.
Louis, 20, who played for The Three Horse Shoes football squad before joining One Direction in 2010, has splashed out on new Nike strips.
'He decided to put his hand in his pocket as long as he can be called the owner and get the odd game when One Direction's diary allows,' reveals a source.
The singer is taking his role very seriously. Louis is believed to have arranged sponsorship with Yorkshire Tea and plans to adopt a hands-on approach despite 1D's gruelling schedule.
'He has been in touch with Doncaster Rovers and is looking to arrange a pre-season friendly,' the insider tells The Sun
'He has also asked Rovers if a couple of players will put on a training session or two for his old pals.'
