Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin denies 'ridiculous' claims that he's a heroin addict
Macaulay Culkin has been forced to deny that he's addicted to drugs.
The actor, who starred in 1990 movie Home Alone as cute kid Kevin McCallister, is reported by a US magazine to be spending £3,800-a-month on heroin as well as taking the painkiller oxycodone.
Macaulay, 31, who split from Mila Kunis 18 months ago, has recently been snapped looking very gaunt and an insider, it's claimed is a good friend, alleges that it's down to his addiction.
They even suggest that the actor may have taken a near-fatal overdose.
‘Mac is hooked on drugs and it's killing him,' the source says.
Macaulay's publicist strongly denies the allegations.
‘The report that Macaulay is addicted to heroin and assorted hallucinogenics is not only categorically without merit,' his spokesperson tells the Daily Mirror, 'but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious.'
