Chantelle Houghton: I can't breastfeed baby Dolly because I'm on painkillers - not because it's a faff
Chantelle Houghton can't breastfeed new baby Dolly because she's still on strong painkillers for her teeth.
The star had veneers fitted in late 2010 but is still suffering from complications which have left her unable to feed her newborn daughter.
‘I'm still in agony with my teeth,' says Chantelle, 28.
‘I've seen seven dentists - I've been crying my eyes out begging for someone to help me.
‘The painkillers I'm on are so strong that I've still not been able to breastfeed. That prompted a negative response but it's not that I can't be bothered!'
Chantelle and fiancé Alex Reid welcomed their first baby on 17 June yet only named the tot recently. The new mum is still considering middle names.
‘We're probably going to give her the middle name Alexia,' reveals Chantelle.
‘Alex wanted it as her first name, but I thought it was a bit too similar to his and we both loved Dolly from the beginning.'
