Tom Parker's band The Wanted recently toured the States

The Wanted's Tom Parker has acknowledged that One Direction are a massive success.

He bumped into Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Liam Payne, all 18, plus Zayn Malik, 19, and Louis Tomlinson, 20, in America and they got along fine. 

'We met them two years ago when they were on The X Factor - they're all really nice lads and we met them again in Los Angeles,' he says.

Tom is also well aware 1D are earning a fortune.

'They're bigger than us,' he tells PA. 'They've got more money than me!'
