A man has been arrested on suspicion of stalking Caroline Flack.
The 39-year-old is alleged to have sent a string of letters to the Xtra Factor presenter, 32, and even turned up at the Manchester auditions for the show.
'It's been a pretty stressful past few weeks for Caroline,' a source tells the Daily Mirror.
'But now the police are involved, she hopes the matter will soon be resolved and she can move on with her life.'
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman says: 'A 39-year-old man was arrested and questioned, and has been bailed until mid-August pending further investigation.'
Caroline split from One Direction hottie Harry Styles, 18, in January.
