Kate Middleton enjoyed a day out at a friend's wedding over the weekend with Prince William - and 4 of their ex-partners.
The couple, along with Kate's sister Pippa Middleton, celebrated the marriage of Kate's school friend Alice St John Webster and Gerald Avenel in a Somerset village on Saturday.
But also in attendance were 2 of Wills' ex-girlfriends and 2 of Kate's former flames.
'It was quite funny really,' says a source.
'They knew one of William's old crushes was going to be there but they giggled when the one turned into four former admirers.'
Kate spent the afternoon in the same room as her teenage sweetheart Willem Marx and Henry Ropner, who she reportedly dated during her split from William in 2007.
William's exes were Rose Farquhar, who he had a relationship with after leaving Eton in 2000, and Olivia Hunt, who he briefly saw at the University of St Andrews before meeting Kate.
The couple, both 30, took the coincidence in good humour.
'Some of their ex-boyfriends and girlfriends often can't resist having a playful dig,' the source tells the Daily Star.
'But William and Kate always take it in the spirit it's intended, light-hearted fun.'
