Christine Bleakley co-hosts Dancing On Ice with Phillip Schofield

Dancing On Ice presenter Christine Bleakley has revealed she went through a tense time recently as she waited for test results to see whether or not she had skin cancer.

'I had my moles checked, just because I thought it was a good thing to do, and I discovered I had to have three removed,' says Christine, 33.

The moles were taken from her neck, back and leg.

Christine, who is engaged to footballer Frank Lampard, was relieved when the results came back giving her the all-clear.

'They were all fine, thank the Lord,' she tells the Press Association.

'It's a funny old thing when you start realising it's not like you're 18 and you think you're going to live forever.

'You start thinking slightly differently and you take a bit more care of yourself.'

Christine is preparing to run 5km for Cancer Research UK's Race For Life in Richmond, south-west London on 15 July.
