Johnny Depp was with Vanessa Paradis for 14 years before they split last week

When Vanessa Paradis found flirty texts from 26-year-old actress Amber Heard on Johnny Depp's phone, she knew their relationship was over.

Here, in a Now exclusive, we can reveal that the couple had an explosive row seven months ago.

'They were  over in LA in late November  and Vanessa, 39, who's an extremely jealous person, clearly suspected something,' reveals our insider.

'So that night she looked on his mobile phone and saw texts from Amber.

'I know the texts were flirty,  but Johnny, 49, never told me exactly what they said. I just know  it was enough for Vanessa  to go ballistic.

'She screamed at Johnny, accusing him of having deleted other texts from Amber. She even demanded to know if he had a second phone that he'd been hiding from her.'

In the heat of the moment, Johnny, we're told, responded by saying:  'I don't love you any more.' Heartbroken Vanessa  then threw him out and he spent the night at a hotel.

Since then, the couple, who have daughter Lily-Rose, 13, and son Jack, 10, have been living almost separate lives.
