Cheryl Cole describes her time at the Jubilee concert as a 'fairytale'

Cheryl Cole loved mixing with royalty after her duet with Gary Barlow at the Queen's recent Diamond Jubilee concert.

The singer spent 'quite a bit of time' chatting to Prince William and Kate Middleton - plus their families - in Buckingham Palace when the gig had finished.

'Kate's mother came over to me at one point and said, "You've got Middleton dimples",' reveals Cheryl, 28.

Cheryl also thought Kate's sister Pippa, 28, was 'gorgeous' and loves that the royals are 'just so normal'.

And like so many others, Cheryl admires 30-year-old Kate's thrifty style.

'Kate's doing really well,' Cheryl tells The Sun.

'It must be tough being thrust into the limelight but she doesn't seem to flinch.

'She takes it in her stride.

'I love that she wears things twice.

'Welcome to the real world.'
