Peter Andre planned to celebrate the end of 55-year-old brother Andrew's course of chemo by taking him on holiday.
But it wasn't to be.
'Andrew was told that he was suffering from blood clots, which prevented him from being able to fly with Peter to Cyprus,' a source tells Now's Dan Wootton.
'It was soon after that Andrew was informed his cancer had spread significantly to other parts of his body.
'It was a hammer blow. The pain is impossible to sum up
'Andrew's finding the news very tough to take.
'He's depressed and just wants to be by himself.
'But Peter's refusing to give up on him.'
