It was the celeb split that shocked us all - none more so than a distraught Myleene Klass.
The mum of two was dealt a huge blow when her previously besotted husband Graham Quinn ended the marriage in April.
Left with their two girls, 34-year-old Myleene went into denial.
She cut herself off, telling only her parents Oscar and Magdalena and a few close friends about the split.
Then, for the next two months, she tried desperately to win Graham back.
'That was the hardest thing for Myleene that he'd made up his mind,' says our source.
'She thought he'd just need a few weeks alone before he'd return.
'But he isn't having any of it. For him, it's over and has been since the day he moved out.'
Although Myleene hasn't seen Graham since he left, they've had several heart-to-heart calls.
But he's refused pleas for relationship therapy.
'She doesn't understand why he wouldn't sit down with her and work out a way to save their marriage,' says the friend.
'But he wouldn't budge. He just doesn't love her any more.
'She asked herself if there was anything she could've done differently.
'But she doesn't blame herself - she says she couldn't make him love her - she blames him for leaving.'
