Nadine Coyle and Cheryl Cole formed Girls Aloud after winning Popstars: The Rivals in 2002

Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle appear to be friends again after reportedly losing touch and falling out after Girls Aloud took a break in 2009.

Singer Cheryl is reported to have invited Nadine via text to a night out at London's Rose Club on Saturday, where she was keen to celebrate reaching No 1 in the charts with her latest single Call My Name.

'Cheryl thought it would be the perfect chance to get Nadine out,' says a source.

The pair are said to have had an 'amazing night' together and Cheryl didn't leave the club until 3am.

A Girls Aloud reunion is imminent, so Cheryl, 28, and Nadine, 26, will be reunited again when they hit the studio later this year - so far the group have only recorded vocals separately.

'They do actually get on and speak,' the source tells Metro.

'Their diaries have just been out of sync over the years.'

Back in 2010, Nadine claimed Cheryl didn't reply to her text, which she sent to 'make sure she was alright' after her battle with malaria.
