How's this for timing? Cheryl Cole's big comeback appearance 
on BBC's The Voice last weekend happened exactly a year after Simon Cowell, 52, axed her from the US X Factor.

The pair are now 'friends' again but it's Chezza, 28, who's having the last laugh.

Since leaving the show and turning down Simon's plea to return to the UK panel, she's never been busier.

As well as launching her own shoe collection for Stylistpick she's been hard at work on her album A Million Lights, due out next month.

There were even reports that Simon's arch nemesis Simon Fuller wanted her for American Idol, although Cheryl later denied she'd talked to him.

What's more, Simon C's camp have given her an open invitation to appear on The X Factor - US or UK.

But sources close to her say she has no plans to take him up on it.
