It's 8am at London's Haymarket Hotel and there's already a bustle of activity in the foyer and hushed whispers as word quickly spreads that Olympic diving hopeful Tom Daley is in the building.
Now's ushered down to the basement swimming pool where, despite the early morning start, adidas's new body care ambassador and general sporting pin-up is on top form.
Worlds away from the 7-year-old kid who started diving just for fun, Tom - who turns 18 today - is definitely all man now, which means it's technically OK to fancy him!
With his boy band looks and ripped abs, Tom could easily be mistaken for the sixth member of One Direction- but he nearly ended up in a different singing group.
'When I was younger I auditioned for S Club Juniors,' Tom tells us.
The same band that Rochelle Wiseman and Frankie Sandford were in before The Saturdays?
'Yes, but I didn't get very far!
'It was just one of those things I wanted to do when I was younger and I'd sung Elvis's Don't Be Cruel and Suspicious Minds at my auntie's wedding.'
