James Corden is keen to follow in the footsteps of Kate Middleton and Prince William by inviting David and Victoria Beckham to his wedding.
James, 33, became engaged to Julia Carey on Christmas Day 2010 and is reportedly planning to get hitched at Somerset celebrity haunt Babington House.
'James has been trying to get this sorted for a while as he's crazy about Julia,' says a friend.
'But his packed work schedule has been a nightmare to fit around.'
James has been friends with David, 37, since they recorded a sketch together for charity telethon Sport Relief in 2010.
The actor and writer, who has a 1-year-old son Max with Julia, is said to be marrying the former TV producer in a lavish £100,000 ceremony.
'The bash will be a no expense-spared event as he has done very well for himself over the years,' the friend tells The Sun.
'He wants the best of everything for his bride.'
