Harry Styles has temporarily cut loose from One Direction to make a name for himself in the US.
The 18-year-old, who flew into LA a week ago, is so adored across the pond that he's reportedly been offered a 'big solo project'.
'He's been in America filming something,' says a friend of Harry's family.
'It may have been an advert or a film - I can't say exactly what - but it's worth a lot of money.'
Harry's 'poster boy' image makes him stand out from band mates Louis Tomlinson, 20, Zayn Malik, 19, plus 18-year-olds Niall Horan and Liam Payne, in the States.
'He has the perfect look - cute, British, well-spoken, and girls love his curly hair,' the friend tells the Daily Star.
'He's a corporate company's dream and a vast number of American firms want a piece of him.'
