A US rock band are suing One Direction and manager Simon Cowell because they've got the same name as them.
The American 1D filed a lawsuit at California Central District Court on Monday alleging copyright against the music boss and his hugely successful fivesome.
'I don't care how powerful Simon Cowell is,' says One Direction US's manager Dan O'Leary.
'He's mad if he thinks we're going to lie down, sit down or sit back over this - whatever power and money he has behind him.
'We're not going to be pushed around by some music mogul.'
Dan claims his boys got together in 2009 - a year before our 1D were formed on The X Factor - and were the first to file a trademark application at the US Patent And Trademark Office.
He also alleges that he asked Simon, 52, to change his group's name before they left for their tour of the States.
But he insists the battle isn't a personal attack on 18-year-olds Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne, plus Zayn Malik, 19, and Louis Tomlinson, 20, who are all named in the federal lawsuit with Simon.
'To Zayn, Harry, Niall, Liam, Louis, we wish you all well and many years of success,' Dan tells The Sun.
'There should be plenty of room for both bands to grow and thrive.
'We hope that this dispute will be resolved soon, and then all of us can focus on making music.'
Dan is reportedly demanding $1m in damages and three times our One Direction boys' profits.

'll soon be back across the pond supporting Big Time Rush - released What Makes You Beautiful in the States on Valentine's Day and it's soared to No 10 on US iTunes.
Though we're not surprised by this, we reckon it'll come as a shock to curly-haired Harry Styles, 18, who recently said finding fame Stateside will be a struggle.
'America is a massive place and it's going to be hard. Nothing is gonna come easy,' he says.
'A lot of people have tried and failed but we want to break the mould and see what we can do.'
We never doubted you, boys. We knew you'd do it!
