Peter Andre's brother 'seriously ill with stomach cancer'

Peter Andre has flown to Australia because his brother Andrew is reported to be battling stomach cancer.

The news follows our report yesterday that the reality TV star has travelled to the other side of the world to be by his sibling's bedside because he's 'seriously ill'.

'Pete has been knocked for six by this,' a friend tells The Sun.

'He found out last week that Andrew was ill with cancer and that it was actually really serious.'

Doctors are said to be planning to operate on the 54-year-old, who lives with his wife Magda on Australia's Gold Coast. 

'It's been a really difficult week,' says Pete, 38.

'At the moment I'm not sure when I'll be back as I want to stay here for as long as Andrew needs me.'

Update 27 February: Peter Andre has since confirmed that Andrew has kidney cancer.
