Cheryl Cole is not impressed with Cher Lloyd's recent 'ugly' dig at her.

Cher, 18, who was mentored by Cheryl on The X Factor, hinted in a recent interview that singing live is a struggle for the Girls Aloud star. 

'Well, it is nowadays, when you haven't got the nifty little button to press,' she told Real Radio Northwest.

Though cheeky Cher went on to deny she was talking about Auto-Tune, it seems Cheryl believes otherwise.

Cheryl, 28, adored the feisty teen rapper and put her through to the 2010 live finals, even though Cher struggled with nerves - but their relationship has since broken down.

'Be Careful who you kick on your way up .. They kick you twice as hard on your way back down.. #unappreciationisugly,' Tweets Cheryl.
