They've been pals for years, but when former Fame Academy co-hosts Cat Deeley, 35, and Patrick Kielty, 41, flew to a romantic Mexican resort, they set tongues wagging.

The ‘friends' are holed up in the resort of Cabo San Lucas.

A pal reveals: ‘They've both been unlucky in love and they think the world of each other. They're ready to settle down and raise a family.

'It's surely only a matter of time before it becomes official.'
