Danielle Lloyd had to have an emergency blood transfusion after doctors found a clot during a routine operation on her breasts.

The mum-of-2 was having a boob job this week in preparation for her wedding to footballer Jamie O'Hara, 24, when the complication was discovered.

'Thanks 4 ur support had a scheduled breast op but Dr's found a blood clot & I lost lots of blood so now having a transfusion am in good hand & I will hopefully be home to my family tomorrow scary times love my family so much Xxx,' Danielle, 27, Tweeted last night.

Model Danielle - who has posted a photo of her IV bag - is missing her fiancé and baby boys Archie, 1, and 7-month-old baby Harry.

But she defends her decision to have plastic surgery to reshape her assets after breastfeeding.

'People might think am selfish 4 wanting a boob job but if I didn't have an op they wouldn't have found the clot & I could of died!' writes Danielle.

'I couldn't have the op & my implants removed as it was 2 dangerous so now I have 2 hope I get better 2 have them replaced before my wedding.'
