Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has revealed that his wife Lucy-Jo Hudson suffers from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

Alan, 29 - who plays Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap - says 28-year-old Lucy-Jo is constantly tidying their home.

'Lucy-Jo has OCD and she's terrible about always having to clean up,' says Alan.

'I've not even finished my cup of tea and it's gone in the dishwasher. God bless her.

'The rug has to be in a certain place, everything has to be hoovered and even the dog's toys have their own area.'

Alan - who met ex-Corrie actress Lucy-Jo when she arrived on the cobbles as Katy Harris in 2002 - is always astonished by how much keeping things in order matters to his wife.

'I couldn't be like that, I'm too lazy,' Alan tells Celebs On Sunday.

'Sometimes if Lucy goes to the toilet, I'll move the rug just to see if she notices and she always does.'
