David Beckham: I've only got 3 really good friends - family is more important

Becks favours quality over quantity

David Beckham lives in LA with his family

David Beckham has revealed that he doesn't have a big group of mates and that's the way he likes it.

The LA Galaxy star, who's been married to fashion designer Victoria, 37, for 12 years, has friends in the various football teams he's played for - but family is 'the most important thing'.

'I've got my wife. I've got my 4 kids,' says David, 36.

'I've got parents, grandparents still, and 3 really good friends.'

David - dad to Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 9, Cruz, 6, and 7-month-old Harper - has a number of famous pals, including Tom Cruise, 49, Gordon Ramsay, 45, and James Corden, 33.

But he hasn't revealed who he considers his top trio.

'It's all you need,' says David.

'I'd rather have 3 really good friends than 20 good friends.'
