Cher Lloyd: Cyber bullies call me a 'dirty pikey' - I'm very scared

Cher Lloyd is constantly taunted by cyber bullies.

The 18-year-old says she gets 'at least 10 Tweets a day' calling her a 'dirty pikey' because of her Romany heritage - and despite her normally feisty front, it does upset her.

'There have been many times when I've cried myself to sleep,' reveals Cher.

'I'm very scared. Some days I wish that people would leave me alone for a bit and for there to be a hole to suck me in.'

Cher is supporting Safer Internet Day and urges others not to keep their feelings bottled up if they're going through a similar experience.

'I never thought I could talk to anybody about it because I didn't feel I needed to as I was strong enough to get through it alone,' Cher tells The One Show.

'But that's the worst thing you can do.'
