Beyonce Knowles makes first public appearance since becoming a mum

New mum Beyoncé Knowles only gave birth on 7 January, but she's already back to looking fabulous.

The glowing singer proudly showed off her post-baby curves in a slinky Alice Temperley red dress last night at the celebration of husband Jay-Z's two anticipated charity shows at New York's Carnegie Hall.

Beyoncé, who named her first daughter Blue Ivy, teamed her frock with glitzy Louboutin heels, gold jewellery and matching Alexander McQueenbox clutch.

The 30-year-old and Jay-Z, 42, announced the arrival of their little girl on Beyoncé's website last month.

'Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven,' they wrote.

'She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives.

'We're thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.'
