Daniel Radcliffe: I used to black out nearly every time I drank - I was a recluse

Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he used to get so drunk he'd 'black out' on a regular basis.

The Harry Potter actor, who's now given up alcohol, admits he can't remember most of his boozing sessions.

'In the last 3 years of drinking I blacked out nearly every time,' admits Daniel, 22.

'Blacking out was my thing.'

Daniel confesses his heavy drinking changed his personality and made him 'a recluse at 20'.

'I was living in constant fear of who I'd meet, what I might have said to them, what I might have done with them,' Daniel tells Shortlist.

'So I'd stay in my apartment for days and drink alone.'
